Scrape off any excess foundation with a dull knife or spoon
Blot the stain with a clean dry cloth
Apply a small amount of liquid dish soap or laundry detergent to the stain
Gently rub the fabric against itself or use a soft brush
Rinse with cold water from the back of the stain
Repeat the soap and rinse steps if needed
For oil-based foundation, apply makeup remover or micellar water first
For stubborn stains, use a stain remover or pre-treatment spray
Wash the clothing in the warmest water safe for the fabric
Check the stain before drying
Air dry until the stain is completely gone
Repeat treatment if any stain remains before machine drying
