Open the Google app
Tap your profile picture or initial
Tap Settings
Tap Search widget
Tap Add widget to Home screen
Or press and hold an empty area on the Home screen
Tap Widgets
Find Google
Press and hold the Google Search bar widget
Drag it to the Home screen
Release it in the desired spot
Resize it if needed
On iPhone, install the Google app first
Press and hold the Home screen
Tap the plus icon
Search for Google
Select the Google widget
Tap Add Widget
Place it on the Home screen
