Open Safari on your MacBook Air
Go to google.com/chrome
Click Download Chrome
Open the downloaded file from the Downloads folder
Drag Google Chrome into the Applications folder
Open Chrome from Applications or Launchpad
If prompted, click Open to confirm
Sign in to Chrome if you want to sync bookmarks and settings
