Go to the Google Cloud Console
Sign in with your Google account
Create a new project or select an existing project
Enable the required Google Maps Platform APIs
Set up billing for the project
Open the Credentials page
Click Create Credentials
Select API key
Copy the generated API key
Restrict the API key to specific APIs, websites, or apps
Save the changes
