Long-press an empty area on your home screen
Tap Widgets
Find Google or Chrome widgets
Select the Google Search widget
Drag it to your home screen
Release it in the desired spot
Resize it if needed
If the widget is missing, make sure the Google app is installed and updated
If needed, enable the Google app in your launcher settings
