Open the Instagram app
Go to your profile
Tap the menu icon in the top right
Select QR code
View your Instagram QR code
Tap to change the background style if needed
Tap Share to save or send the QR code
Scan someone else’s QR code by opening the Instagram camera or QR scanner and pointing it at the code
