Check whether your Chromebook supports Linux (Crostini)
Open Settings
Go to Advanced
Select Developers
Turn on Linux development environment
Follow the on-screen setup prompts
Wait for Linux to install
Open the Terminal app from the app launcher
Update Linux packages with `sudo apt update`
Upgrade packages with `sudo apt upgrade`
Install Linux apps with `apt` or download `.deb` files
If Linux is not available, enable Developer Mode and install a Linux distribution manually
Back up your data before changing developer settings
Use a bootable USB or recovery method if installing a full Linux distro
