Turn off the device immediately
Unplug any cable or accessory
Hold the device with the charging port facing downward
Gently tap the device against your hand to help drain liquid
Wipe the outside of the port with a dry, lint-free cloth
Let the device air-dry in a dry, well-ventilated place
Keep the device away from heat sources
Do not use a hair dryer, compressed air, or cotton swabs
Do not insert anything into the charging port
Wait until the port is completely dry before charging
If the device shows a liquid detection alert, wait until it clears
If liquid was saltwater, sugary liquid, or other corrosive liquid, seek professional service
If the device will not charge after drying, contact support or a repair technician
