Let the wax harden completely
Scrape off excess wax with a dull knife or credit card
Place the fabric between paper towels or plain brown paper
Press with a warm iron on low heat to transfer the wax to the paper
Replace the paper and repeat until no more wax transfers
Apply a small amount of liquid laundry detergent to the stained area
Gently rub the detergent into the fabric
Wash the clothing according to the care label
Check the stain before drying
Repeat the process if any wax remains
For delicate fabrics, use a professional dry cleaner
