Open the app or browser you used for the search
Go to History, Recent activity, or Search history
Select the search items you want to remove
Tap or click Delete, Remove, or Clear history
Choose a time range if prompted
Confirm the deletion
In Google, go to My Activity and delete search activity
In Chrome, open History and clear browsing data
In Safari, open History and clear history and website data
In Firefox, open History and clear recent history
In Edge, open History and clear browsing data
Turn off search history or activity saving in account settings if available
Sign out of your account if you do not want searches saved to it
Clear autofill and search suggestions if needed
Repeat the process on each device you use
