Meet the minimum age requirement in your country
Be in good physical and mental health
Choose a certified skydiving school or drop zone
Enroll in an approved training program
Complete ground school training
Learn equipment, body position, canopy control, emergency procedures, and landing techniques
Complete the required number of supervised jumps
Pass written knowledge tests if required
Pass practical jump evaluations
Log all jumps in an official logbook
Obtain instructor sign-off for each required skill
Apply for the license or certification through the governing skydiving organization
Maintain currency by making regular jumps and following renewal requirements
