Freeze the slime with ice packs or a bag of ice wrapped in a towel
Once hardened, gently break and scrape out as much as possible with a comb or your fingers
Apply a generous amount of oil (olive oil, coconut oil, or baby oil) to the affected hair and scalp area
Work the oil through the hair with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb
Let it sit for 10–20 minutes
Comb again to lift remaining slime from the strands
Wash with dish soap (or a clarifying shampoo) and warm water
Massage thoroughly into the hair and scalp, then rinse well
Repeat washing if slime remains
Use conditioner after the final wash to restore softness
If residue persists, apply more oil and comb again, then wash again
For stubborn residue, use rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad and dab affected areas, then wash immediately
Avoid heat tools until all slime is removed
If slime is stuck near the scalp and won’t come out, seek help from a professional hairdresser or dermatologist
