Turn off your phone immediately
Unplug any charging cable
Remove the case
Hold the phone with the charging port facing downward
Gently tap the phone against your palm to help drain water
Shake the phone lightly to remove excess water
Wipe the outside with a dry, lint-free cloth
Use a soft, dry cotton swab around the port opening
Leave the phone in a dry, well-ventilated area
Place it near a fan
Use silica gel packets if available
Wait at least 30 minutes before trying to charge it
Do not use heat, hair dryers, or compressed air
Do not insert anything into the charging port
Do not charge the phone until the port is completely dry
