Open the Start menu and search for Control Panel
Go to Network and Internet
Open Network and Sharing Center
Click your Wi-Fi network name next to Connections
Click Wireless Properties
Open the Security tab
Check Show characters
Read the Wi-Fi password in the Network security key field
Open Settings
Go to Network and Internet
Open Advanced network settings
Select More network adapter options
Right-click your Wi-Fi connection
Click Status
Click Wireless Properties
Open the Security tab
Check Show characters
Read the Wi-Fi password in the Network security key field
Open Command Prompt as administrator
Type netsh wlan show profiles
Press Enter
Type netsh wlan show profile name=”WiFiName” key=clear
Press Enter
Find the Key Content field
Open Terminal or Command Prompt
Type netsh wlan show profiles
Press Enter
Type netsh wlan show profile name=”WiFiName” key=clear
Press Enter
Look for Key Content under Security settings
