Create consent and clear communication before any skin contact
Choose a safe area with thicker skin (commonly upper chest, upper arm, or shoulder)
Use gentle pressure with clean hands
Apply suction briefly using your mouth or fingers (light, short contact)
Keep contact time short to reduce risk of excessive bruising
Release pressure gradually
Avoid pressing too hard or holding too long
Check the area during and after contact for discomfort
Stop if pain, numbness, or skin irritation occurs
Avoid sensitive areas (neck, face, over bones, or near arteries/veins) and any broken or irritated skin
Do not attempt if you have bleeding/clotting disorders or take blood thinners
Seek medical care for severe swelling, spreading bruising, intense pain, or vision/neurologic symptoms
