Open Google Maps on a computer
Search for a place or drop a pin
Click the place name or address
Select Street View if available
Click the clock icon or “See more dates”
Choose a past date from the timeline
View the historical Street View image
Use the arrows to move along the street
On mobile, open Street View in Google Maps
Tap the image if historical dates are available
Select an older date from the available options
If no date option appears, historical imagery is not available for that location
