Power off the computer completely
Turn it back on
Immediately press and hold the BIOS/UEFI entry key repeatedly during startup
Common BIOS/UEFI keys to try:
Del (Delete)
F2
F10
F12
Esc
Enter (then select BIOS/UEFI if prompted)
If you see a logo, keep tapping the key until a BIOS/UEFI screen appears
If using a laptop, try the Function key combinations:
Fn + F2
Fn + F10
Fn + Del
If the computer boots too fast, try powering off and restarting, then start pressing the key earlier
If Windows is already running (UEFI BIOS access):
Open Settings
Go to System > Recovery
Under Advanced startup, select Restart now
Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > UEFI Firmware Settings
Select Restart to enter BIOS/UEFI
Look for the on-screen prompt during startup (e.g., “Press F2 to enter Setup”)
If none of the keys work, check the motherboard/laptop model’s manual or support page for the correct BIOS/UEFI key
