Measure the roof edge and mark the gutter slope toward the downspout
Snap a chalk line to guide the gutter placement
Install fascia brackets or gutter hangers at regular intervals
Cut the gutter sections to length
Attach end caps and outlet openings
Seal joints and end caps with gutter sealant
Lift the gutter into place along the chalk line
Fasten the gutter to the hangers or brackets
Connect gutter sections with connectors or sealant
Install downspouts and elbows
Secure downspouts to the wall with straps
Test with water and adjust slope if needed
