Open Google Photos
Select the photos or videos you want to hide
Tap the three-dot menu
Choose Move to Locked Folder
Confirm with your device screen lock or fingerprint
Use Locked Folder to keep items hidden from the main library
Open Google Photos
Go to Library
Tap Utilities
Select Locked Folder to view hidden items
Remove items from Locked Folder if you want them visible again
On Android, use Archive to hide photos from the main feed without deleting them
Select photos
Tap the three-dot menu
Choose Archive
Open Archive from Library to access archived photos
Unarchive photos to make them visible again
Turn off Backup for sensitive photos before moving them if needed
Check shared albums and links to make sure hidden photos are not still accessible
