Open WhatsApp
Go to the group chat
Tap the group name at the top
Tap Group settings or Group info
Change group permissions if needed
Mute the group to reduce notifications
Archive the group chat to hide it from the main chat list
On Android, long-press the group chat and tap Archive
On iPhone, swipe left on the group chat and tap Archive
Turn on Keep chats archived if you want it to stay hidden
To hide the group from notifications, disable notifications for that group
To leave the group, tap Exit group if you no longer want it visible
