How to Include References in Resume?

Omit references unless the employer specifically requests them

Add a separate section titled “References”

Include each reference’s full name

Include each reference’s phone number

Include each reference’s email address

Include your relationship to each reference

Include references who can speak to your work performance

Ask for permission before listing anyone as a reference
