Choose the correct seat position in the vehicle
Check whether the seat will use LATCH or the seat belt
Place the car seat on the vehicle seat
Adjust the car seat to the correct rear-facing or forward-facing angle
Thread the seat belt or attach the LATCH connectors
Tighten the installation securely
Lock the seat belt if required
Check for movement at the belt path
Confirm the car seat is installed tightly
Attach and adjust the top tether if using a forward-facing seat
Place the child in the seat and fasten the harness
Adjust the harness straps and chest clip properly
Recheck the installation regularly
