How To Iron On Embroidered Patches?

Preheat the iron to the cotton setting, with steam turned off

Place the garment on a flat, heat-safe surface

Position the embroidered patch where you want it

Cover the patch with a thin pressing cloth or clean cotton fabric

Press the iron firmly onto the patch for 20 to 30 seconds

Apply steady pressure without moving the iron around

Flip the garment over and press the back of the patch area for 20 to 30 seconds

Check that the patch edges are fully bonded

Repeat pressing if any edges are lifting

Let the patch cool completely before handling

Avoid washing the item for 24 hours after application

If the fabric is delicate or heat-sensitive, sew the patch instead
