Finish the last stitch before changing yarn
Leave a tail of the old yarn
Place the new yarn on the hook
Pull the new yarn through to complete the stitch
Tighten both yarn tails gently
Crochet over the tails for a few stitches to secure them
Weave in the ends with a yarn needle
Trim any excess yarn after securing it
