Open Facebook and go to your profile

Select the privacy icon or Edit Privacy
Set Friends List visibility to Only me
On desktop, go to Settings and privacy
Open Settings
Go to Privacy
Find Who can see your friends list?
Change it to Only me
On mobile, open the Facebook app
Tap the menu icon
Go to Settings and privacy
Tap Settings
Open Audience and visibility
Tap How people find and contact you
Set Who can see your friends list? to Only me
Review your profile to make sure the friends list is hidden
Check any custom friend lists or public posts that may reveal connections
Limit who can see your future posts and past posts
Use the Friends List privacy setting regularly to confirm it stays private
