On Windows, open Command Prompt and type `ipconfig`
Look for the `IPv4 Address` under your active network adapter
On Windows, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi or Ethernet > Hardware properties
On macOS, go to System Settings > Network > select Wi-Fi or Ethernet > Details
On macOS, check the `IP Address` shown in the network details
On Linux, open Terminal and type `ip a`
Look for the `inet` address under your active network interface
On any device, search `what is my IP` in a browser to see your public IP address
On any device, open your router’s connected devices list to find the laptop’s local IP address
