Open the Settings app
Tap General
Tap About
Find Model Name
Find Model Number
Check the back of the iPad for the model number
Compare the model number with Apple’s iPad model list
Check the original box or receipt for the iPad model
Use the serial number on Apple’s Check Coverage page
Look in the Apple ID device list if the iPad is signed in to your account
