Fold a yarn strip in half
Place the folded loop under one mesh intersection
Insert the latch hook through the loop from the front
Close the latch on the hook
Pull the hook and loop back through the mesh
Open the latch and remove the hook

Tighten the knot gently
Repeat across the canvas in the pattern you want
Keep all knots facing the same direction
Trim yarn if needed for an even finish
