Set your PC display resolution to a stretched 4:3 resolution in Windows
Open NVIDIA Control Panel or AMD Adrenalin
Enable GPU scaling
Set scaling mode to Full-screen
Disable aspect ratio preservation
Apply the settings
Launch Skate
Open the in-game video or display settings
Select the same stretched resolution you set in Windows
If the game does not show the resolution, use borderless or fullscreen mode and relaunch
If needed, edit the game config file to force the desired resolution
Keep the game in exclusive fullscreen for the stretched effect to apply
If the image stays black bars, recheck GPU scaling and monitor scaling settings
