Keep copies of the newspaper publications
Apply for Gazette notification of name change
Submit the required documents to the Department of Publication or the concerned authority
Include affidavit, newspaper clippings, application form, ID proof, address proof, and passport-size photographs
Pay the prescribed fee
Obtain the Gazette notification after approval
Update your name in Aadhaar, PAN, passport, bank records, educational certificates, and other official documents using the Gazette copy
