Visit the Income Tax e-Filing portal: https://www.incometax.gov.in
Click on the “Link Aadhaar” option
Enter your PAN number
Enter your Aadhaar number
Enter your name exactly as per Aadhaar
Enter your mobile number linked with Aadhaar
Click on “Validate”
Enter the OTP received on your mobile number
Submit the request
Check the status of Aadhaar-PAN linking on the portal
If needed, link Aadhaar and PAN through SMS by sending:
UIDPAN <12-digit Aadhaar> <10-digit PAN>
Send the SMS to 567678 or 56161
