Gather 6 wool blocks of the same color
Gather 1 stick
Open a crafting table
Place the 6 wool blocks in the top two rows
Place the stick in the center of the bottom row
Take the banner from the crafting result
Place the banner on the ground or use it on a wall
Use a loom with dyes to add patterns if desired
