Choose a small focal flower
Select a few accent greens or filler stems
Cut the flower stem to about 2 to 3 inches
Remove any leaves below the bloom
Trim the stem at a slight angle
Add a small piece of greenery behind the flower
Hold the stems together tightly
Wrap the stems with floral tape
Secure with a pin or boutonniere wire
Trim the back so it sits flat
Store it in a cool place until use
