Start at the top line
Make a small upward curve to the right
Bring the stroke down in a straight line
Lift slightly and place the pen at the middle of the vertical line
Draw an upper diagonal stroke up and to the right
Return to the middle and draw a lower diagonal stroke down and to the right
Finish with a slight tail if desired
