Choose two pieces of fleece fabric of the same size
Wash and dry the fabric if needed
Lay the first fleece piece flat with the right side facing down
Place the second fleece piece on top, right side facing up
Trim the edges so both pieces are even
Cut off any selvage edges
Cut a square from each corner
Cut fringe strips along all four sides
Make each fringe strip the same length and width
Tie the top and bottom fringe strips together in double knots
Continue tying all the way around the blanket
Smooth the blanket and check for any untied fringe
Trim any uneven fringe if needed
