2 oz gin
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
3 oz chilled Champagne or sparkling wine
Ice
Lemon twist, for garnish
Add gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup to a shaker with ice
Shake well until chilled
Strain into a Champagne flute or coupe
Top with Champagne or sparkling wine
Garnish with a lemon twist
