Open Google Docs
Click Insert
Click Chart
Select the chart type
Open the linked Google Sheets file
Enter your data in the spreadsheet
Customize the chart in Google Sheets
Return to Google Docs
Click Update on the chart if needed
Resize or move the chart in the document
