Gather espresso, milk, a coffee cup, and a milk frother or steam wand
Brew one or two shots of espresso
Heat and froth the milk until it is hot and velvety
Pour the espresso into the cup
Slowly add the steamed milk to the espresso
Spoon a little foam on top
Serve immediately
