Gather a frame material such as wood, metal, or sturdy cardboard
Cut two identical side pieces for the loom frame
Cut two crosspieces for the top and bottom
Assemble the frame into a rectangle and secure the joints
Add notches, pegs, or holes along the top and bottom edges for thread placement
Sand any rough edges if using wood
Attach warp threads vertically between the top and bottom sections
Use a shuttle, needle, or weaving tool to pass weft threads through the warp
Tighten the warp threads evenly
Continue weaving by alternating the weft over and under the warp threads
Secure the finished weaving and remove it from the loom if needed
