Gather a lever or button
Gather a building block for the base
Place the base blocks in the shape you want
Place note blocks where you want the melody to play
Place redstone dust to connect the note blocks
Place repeaters to control the timing between notes
Set each note block to the desired pitch by right-clicking it
Test the circuit with a lever or button
Adjust the repeater delays until the song sounds right
Add more note blocks for chords or harmony
Hide the redstone under the floor or inside the build
Decorate the outside to look like a music box
Use a piston or opening lid design if you want a moving music box effect
