Unfold it
Fold it in half diagonally the other way
Unfold it
Fold the paper in half horizontally
Unfold it
Fold the paper in half vertically
Unfold it
Bring the side folds inward to form a smaller square base
Fold each corner of the square toward the center
Unfold the last folds
Use the crease lines to shape the points of the star
Repeat on all sides until the star forms
Press the folds firmly to hold the shape
