How to Make a Remote Vault in Obsidian?

Create a vault folder in a local directory

Sign in to Obsidian Sync and enable Sync for the vault

Select the vault and choose the remote devices to sync with

Install Obsidian on the other device

Sign in to the same Obsidian account

Enable Sync and download the vault to the device

Use the synced vault on all connected devices

Alternatively, store the vault in a cloud-synced folder such as Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, or iCloud Drive

Open that cloud folder as an Obsidian vault on each device

Ensure only one device edits the vault at a time if using third-party cloud sync

Keep attachments and plugins inside the same vault folder

Verify sync settings and file availability on each device
