Sign in to Microsoft 365 with an account that has permission to create sites
Open SharePoint from the Microsoft 365 app launcher
Select Create site
Choose Team site or Communication site
Enter a site name
Set the site address
Choose privacy settings if prompted
Add site owners and members if prompted
Select language and other options if available
Select Finish or Create
Customize the site home page
Add web parts, pages, and navigation as needed
Upload files and create document libraries if needed
Set permissions and sharing settings as needed
