Gather a wooden or aluminum frame, mesh fabric, staple gun or adhesive, and scissors
Stretch the mesh tightly over the frame
Secure the mesh to the frame with staples or adhesive
Trim any excess mesh
Apply a stencil or emulsion design to the mesh
Let the stencil or emulsion dry completely
Test the screen with ink or paint before use
