How to Make Agua de Jamaica?

Rinse 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers

Boil 4 cups water

Add the hibiscus flowers to the boiling water

Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes

Remove from heat

Let steep for 10 to 15 minutes

Strain out the flowers

Add 4 to 6 cups cold water

Sweeten with sugar to taste

Stir until dissolved

Serve over ice
