How To Make Amla Candy?

Wash the amla thoroughly

Steam or boil the amla until slightly soft

Cool the amla completely

Remove the seeds and separate the segments

Mix the amla pieces with sugar

Add a little salt if desired

Add black salt if desired

Add roasted cumin powder if desired

Add chili powder if desired

Mix well until the amla is coated

Keep the mixture in a covered container for 1 to 2 days

Stir once or twice a day

Dry the amla pieces in sunlight or in a low-temperature oven

Continue drying until the pieces are non-sticky

Store the amla candy in an airtight container
