How To Make An Organizational Chart In Excel?

Open Excel and create a new worksheet

Go to the Insert tab

Click SmartArt

Select Hierarchy

Choose an organizational chart layout

Click OK

Enter the top position title in the first box

Add subordinate positions using the Text Pane or the SmartArt tools

Use Add Shape to insert assistants, subordinates, or peers

Type names and job titles into each box

Format the chart using SmartArt Design and Format tabs

Adjust colors, styles, and fonts as needed

Resize boxes and rearrange the chart if necessary

Save the workbook
