How To Make Apple Cider Vinegar?

Wash and chop apples, keeping the peels and cores

Place the apple pieces in a clean glass jar

Add sugar or honey if desired

Pour in filtered water until the apples are fully covered

Stir with a clean utensil

Cover the jar with a cloth or paper towel and secure it with a rubber band

Store at room temperature away from direct sunlight

Stir once daily for about 1 to 2 weeks

Strain out the apple solids

Return the liquid to the jar

Cover again with cloth and secure it

Let it ferment for 3 to 6 weeks, stirring occasionally

Taste until it reaches the desired vinegar flavor

Bottle and store in a cool, dark place
