Gather beeswax, candle wick, wick holder or chopsticks, double boiler, thermometer, mold or jar, and scissors
Measure the beeswax for the candle size you want
Place the beeswax in the top of a double boiler
Heat the beeswax gently until fully melted
Cut the wick to fit the mold or jar, leaving extra length at the top
Secure the wick in the center of the mold or jar
Pour the melted beeswax slowly into the mold or jar
Keep the wick centered while the wax cools
Let the candle cool and harden completely
Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch
Remove the candle from the mold if needed
Store the finished candle in a cool, dry place
