Prepare nori sheets, imitation crab, cucumber, and avocado
Place a nori sheet on a bamboo sushi mat
Spread a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori
Sprinkle sesame seeds over the rice if desired
Flip the nori so the rice side is facing down
Arrange crab, cucumber, and avocado along one edge of the nori
Roll tightly using the bamboo mat
Seal the edge with a little water
Slice the roll into bite-sized pieces with a sharp knife
Serve with soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi
